GHPC 20211208 patch notes

GHPC has been updated to version 20211208!  As always, you can find the public demo here.  Patrons can find the full demo using the usual link, which will be shared again in the Patreon post for the update.

Overview

This update brings a slew of bug fixes, optimizations, and small features.  Included among these is a much-requested overhaul to explosive damage and suppression effects, which will make fighting against ATGM positions much less frustrating.  In addition, some users will see improved performance due to reductions in memory usage and rendering time. 

We're hard at work on some much larger features for GHPC.  Stay tuned for more news soon!

  • Fixed errors that could lead to destroyed vehicles being targeted
  • Fixed HEAT rounds not doing blast damage on terrain hits
  • Fixed an issue that gave humans and fragile equipment very high resistance to blast damage
  • Fixed an issue where blasts that didn't completely destroy something would do no damage to it
  • Fixed AI commander calling "doubtful" on hits
  • Fixed AI commander switching targets too frequently or for no good reason
  • Fixed AI loader not calling "up" when someone else was talking
  • Fixed fire control systems not working properly with joysticks or toggle aim mode
  • Fixed toggle aim mode canceling traverse suddenly under certain conditions
  • Fixed toggle aim mode turning off when view changed
  • Fixed vehicles appearing glossy at night
  • Fixed an issue that could allow destroyed transmissions to keep working
  • Fixed stuttering movement on thrown turrets
  • Fixed some vehicles and equipment not appearing the right temperature in thermal view
  • Fixed multiple efficiency problems in game scripts
  • Fixed inaccurate machine gun ammo counts for some vehicles
  • Fixed an issue that allowed some gunner inputs while the game was paused
  • Fixed an issue that allowed some gunner inputs while the gunner was incapacitated
  • Fixed an issue where, after winning the battle with [REDACTED], players would lose the mouse cursor
